We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join KPMG’s Financial Regulation department.
About the team
KPMG’s Financial Regulation department is a leading practice in Israel, closely connected to KPMG’s global regulatory network. We advise leading financial institutions across banking and capital markets, including payments companies and FinTechs.
Our advisory work sits at the core of the financial industry and often combines regulatory and strategic perspectives. You’ll gain exposure to the regulatory landscape shaping financial institutions — with a particular focus on Open Banking / Open Finance, crypto-assets, payments, ESG, and Sustainable Finance.
The opportunity
This role offers hands-on experience in financial regulation, close work with multiple stakeholders, and exposure to diverse engagements across leading organizations in the market.
Key responsibilities
- Support financial institutions through licensing processes with regulatory authorities (e.g., the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority and the Israel Securities Authority), including drafting policy documents, procedures, and governance materials.
- Provide regulatory advisory services in relation to key regulators such as the Bank of Israel, the Capital Market Authority, and the Israel Securities Authority.
- Advise banks and non-bank financial institutions, including FinTech companies, on the implementation of regulatory requirements and translating them into practical, workable processes.
- Support readiness for new regulations, including Israeli and international regulatory monitoring.
- Review international regulations and conduct benchmarking / comparative surveys against global practices.

- 2–3 years of post-internship experience in financial regulation, including core financial business processes and familiarity with relevant frameworks (e.g., Open Banking, Credit Data Reporting and related requirements) – mandatory.
- Experience with in the financial sector – significant advantage.
- High-level English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
- Experience in large organizations (e.g., top-tier law firms and/or international companies) – significant advantage.
- Experience in a regulatory authority and/or direct work with regulators – advantage.
- Strong self-learning capabilities and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills and an end-to-end understanding of processes, including the ability to analyze complex regulatory issues and understand business processes at the core of financial activity.
- Proven experience in drafting and writing regulatory documents (policies, procedures, position papers, submissions).
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholdersThe position is intended for everyone.
